Professional Writers Association of Canada Annual General Meeting
Friday, May 12, 2006 – Dorothea was one of the keynote speakers for this national organization’s Annual General Meeting held in Ottawa. She addressed how to make the leap from bringing in ho-hum money as a writer to making a great living doing what you love. Applicable in all areas of life, this advice revolved around a four-letter word that doesn’t start with F. Beginning writers whose self-confidence was lagging, experienced hobby writers who felt held back by self-doubt, and professional writers who needed a kick in the butt out of a rut found inspiration in this presentation, which received a standing ovation.
